Accountant

Job Overview

We are hiring for an experienced and driven Accounting Manager to plan, execute & support significant growth in our APAC region.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform month-end closing and ensure integrity of subsidiaries’ accounting. This includes identifying & posting relevant journal entries, accounts and bank reconciliations.

  • Prepare financial reports and schedules for management review, and other ad hoc reports.

  • Responsible for preparation of monthly accounting entries and reconciliations for intercompany balances, accounts receivables and other ancillary balance sheet accounts.

  • Prepare cash and bank reconciliations and update monthly cash flow analysis.

  • Handle all matters related to Malaysia Tax and Sale Service Tax requirements.

  • Ensure legal and regulatory compliance with all reporting, accounting and audit requirements imposed by regulatory bodies.

  • Assist in budget and forecasting initiatives.

  • Assist in revenue recording and reporting monthly results by BU.

  • Identify potential internal control weaknesses, propose, and implement corrective procedures.

  • Responsible for liaising with external auditors, tax consultants and government authority in relating to accounting issues.

  • Any other ad-hoc assignment as assigned by the Management.

Qualifications:
  • Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree or Professional Degree in Finance /Accounting, ACCA / CIMA or equivalent.

  • Possess strong sense of responsibility, integrity and result oriented.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

  • Strong organizational skills, ability to multitask and prioritize work

  • Ability to learn fast, execute and deliver desired results

  • Comfortable working in a fast paced environment


Business Analyst

Job Overview

We are hiring an experienced, self-directed and highly motivated Business Analyst to be responsible for liaising between business users and technologists to exchange information in a concise, logical and understandable way in coordination with the Technology team. This role requires continuous investigation towards understanding of business performance and other measures to enable the implementation of business technology solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Manages multiple projects and tasks simultaneously

  • Meet with project stakeholders to clearly capture business requirements, critical milestones, and dependencies

  • Analyze business client needs, document requirements and new technology, and derive test cases

  • Define and analyze enhancements and assist in redesigning business processes and process automation

  • Prepare reports, metrics and presentations and exchange ideas/information in a concise and logical manner 

  • Identify risk and consider business implications of the application of technology to the current business environment

  • Test systems to ensure projects meet requirements and identify system problems to develop solutions based on analyses

  • Resolve problems by translating business requirements into technical solutions and identifying and selecting solutions through the application of acquired technical experience and precedent

We are looking for an experienced, self-directed and highly motivated Project Manager to take ownership of projects, processes and other initiatives that evolve and enhance how we engage with our clients. This role requires a strong understanding of both project management methodologies as well as our solution technology and best practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for management and delivery of digital projects for the APAC region to ensure on time and high quality delivery to our clients

  • Manages multiple projects and tasks simultaneously

  • Meet with project stakeholders to clearly capture business requirements, critical milestones, and dependencies

  • Define project business requirements, analysis, and design; facilitate decision making sessions for project specific architecture, business strategy, operational processes, business processes, and organizational requirements

  • Proactively works with internal teams to define project requirements and estimate effort to deliver

  • Act as a liaison between IT stakeholders to strengthen understanding of business-aligned goals. Challenge the status quo

  • Obtain stakeholder buy-in and proactively manage expectations throughout the project

  • Creates and maintains project plans to fully account for the delivery and ongoing improvement of the solution

  • Tracks progress against plans, deliverables, and expected outcomes

  • Identifies and attends to interdependencies between key resources and between significant work efforts
